Imprinting is limited to the following objects: arcs, circles, lines, 2D and 3D polylines, ellipses, splines, regions, bodies, and 3D solids 1. Extrude objects i. Render the drawing to see the newly mapped material. Create a new material. Command: materialattach 3. Click and drag the material onto the desired layer. Adjust the material to the object and render to see the results. Click Tools, Palettes, Tool Palettes. Note: If materials are not shown on the Tool Palette, load them from the materials section on the Dashboard.
Click and drag a material on to an object. Now select the edge between the flat piece and the biggest cylinder as shown in the image below and press enter twice to exit the command.
