I used this for the first time and yes you can record snapshots and videos. Now the deficiencies. When you push the snapshot button on the iPad screen there is no indication that it actually worked. There needs to be feedback on the screen. For some reason the button on the cable didn't work which would have made taking snapshots easier.

The pictures can only be copied to the Photos folder one at a time and is very cumbersome. Forth the videos can't be copied to another folder for alternative use. The app appears to list the photos and video in random order with no ability to sort. If I'm wrong about these, please educate me.
