Download older versions of emby

Sometime over the past 4 weeks or so transcoding complete broke down for me and I want to downgrade to an older version to see if that fixes the problem. And you probably should do a clean install whenever trying to go backwards as database changes may be incompatible. I'll try testing on my main rig instead of my htpc.

Finally got everything set up and working apart from transcoding so rather not touch that unless necessary. I can just extract the zip and it should work? I'm on my phone now and can't really check, sorry if I'm asking something obvious.

I even did a CPU stress test using Prime95 for a couple hours to rule out power supply or temperature issues. I just found it very coincidental that the issues started happening immediately after installing the new version.

Before doing so, everything has been stable for several weeks without a single hiccup. One thing I did see in event viewer after the newest release version is that Emby is having trouble starting after a reboot. I run it as a service, so I changed the Emby service from "automatic" to "automatic delayed start". Things seem to have become more stable in the last day, but it's really too soon to tell. I am still interested in deleting the database files though if you think it may help.

But how is this done? It doesn't sound like you are having a database compatibility issue so I would not worry about that.
